JHSC Refresher Training Overview
Every three years, certification must be renewed through JHSC Virtual Refresher Training, which must be approved by the CPO.A virtual facilitator leads a one-day course on refresher training in a virtual classroom. Participants receive updated information on regulations and get to practice carrying out their duties.
Through group projects and discussions, participants gain knowledge from other JHSC participants.
During JHSC Refresher training, will cover the following topics and activities.
- A review of key components of JHSC Part 1 & 2 training.
- Relevant updates to legislation, standards, codes of practice.
- Group discussion focused on addressing best practices and common challenges.
