Operating a crane is a high-risk task that requires skill, awareness, and strict adherence to safety standards. Our Crane Safety Training program is designed to equip operators, riggers, and supervisors with the knowledge and confidence they need to work safely and legally in Ontario.

Course Overview
Our Crane Safety Training covers:
- Types of cranes: Mobile, Tower, Overhead, and Articulating (e.g. HIAB)
- Pre-operation inspections and maintenance
- Safe lifting techniques
- Load charts and load handling
- Rigging and signaling procedures
- Hazard recognition and site safety
- Legal responsibilities under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
- Emergency procedures and accident prevention

Legal Requirements in Ontario
According to Ontario’s OHSA and Regulation 213/91 for Construction Projects, all crane operators and personnel involved in lifting operations must be competently trained and deemed competent by their employer. Our course meets the requirements set by the Ministry of Labour (MOL) and is aligned with WSIB safety standards.
